Responsável pela direção artística da Perve Galeria, da Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny e de instituições associadas, a associação sem fins lucrativos assinala a data com a inauguração da exposição Dédalo: 25 Anos em Alfama.
A mostra apresenta uma núcleo retrospetivo na Perve Galeria e um núcleo documental na Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny, evidenciando o percurso do Colectivo enquanto agente essencial na promoção da arte lusófona e do sul global, consolidando a sua missão de dar voz e visibilidade a artistas de diferentes geografias.
ENG| On March 15, 2025, from 5 PM to 9 PM, Colectivo Multimédia Perve will enthusiastically celebrate 25 years of presence in Alfama. Responsible for the artistic direction of Perve Galeria, Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny, and associated institutions, the non-profit organization marks the occasion with the opening of the exhibition Maze: 25 Years in Alfama.
The exhibition features a retrospective section at Perve Galeria and a documentary section at Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny, showcasing the Colectivo’s journey as an essential agent in the promotion of Lusophone and Global South art. Through this initiative, it reaffirms its mission of giving voice and visibility to artists from diverse backgrounds.

PT| A exposição Dédalo: 25 anos em Alfama celebra os 25 anos de presença do Colectivo Multimédia Perve no bairro de Alfama, uma das zonas mais emblemáticas do centro histórico de Lisboa. Associação sem fins lucrativos fundada em 1997 na Amadora e estabelecida em Alfama desde 15 de março de 2000, o Coletivo é responsável pela coordenação e direção artística da Perve Galeria, da Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny, e de outras instituições associadas, como a galeria aPGn2 - a Pigeon too, em Alcântara, e o 27ARTe, espaço experimental de arte contemporânea ao ar livre, acessível 24 horas por dia, 7 dias por semana, em Alfama.
Esta mostra, que se desdobra entre a Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny e a Perve Galeria, oferece uma viagem pela história do Coletivo, destacando os momentos chave da sua trajetória. São apresentadas obras emblemáticas de artistas que ao longo dos anos marcaram a sua história, bem como criações inéditas realizadas especialmente para esta ocasião, por artistas como Borderlovers, Alfredo Luz, Vítor Rua, Gabriel Garcia, Carlos Zíngaro, MarYserra e Dear Anushka.
A inauguração da exposição conta ainda com performances de artistas como João Garcia Miguel, Pedro Amaral, MarYserra e contributos poéticos com a poeta Conceição Baleizão.
A diversidade dos meios artísticos expostos — pintura, escultura, fotografia, vídeo, instalação, entre outros — oferece uma visão plural e crítica da evolução do Coletivo, refletindo a sua constante busca por novas linguagens e formas de expressão, enfatizando a sua missão de dar voz a diferentes gerações de artistas e de ampliar as narrativas artísticas do mundo lusófono e do Sul Global. Assumindo uma narrativa em construção, num corpo-vivo em que a própria mostra se vai transformando ao longo do tempo, propõe-se uma reflexão sobre o papel da arte como instrumento de resistência, identidade e diálogo cultural, especialmente em tempos de mudanças sociais e culturais significativas.
"Dédalo: 25 anos em Alfama" não é apenas uma celebração do Coletivo Multimédia Perve, mas também um tributo a todos os artistas, colaboradores e públicos que, ao longo destes anos, contribuíram para que a instituição se afirmasse como uma referência no panorama artístico contemporâneo, tanto a nível nacional como internacional. Esta exposição reafirma o compromisso do Coletivo em promover a arte como elo entre mundos, gerações e experiências, e oferece uma oportunidade única de reflexão sobre o poder da arte na construção de um futuro mais inclusivo e sensível às questões globais e locais.
ENG| The exhibition Daedalus: 25 Years in Alfama celebrates the 25th anniversary of the presence of Colectivo Multimédia Perve in the Alfama neighborhood, one of the most emblematic areas of Lisbon's historic center. A non-profit association founded in 1997 in Amadora and established in Alfama since March 15, 2000, the Colectivo is responsible for the coordination and artistic direction of Perve Galeria, Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny, and other associated institutions, such as aPGn2 - a Pigeon too gallery in Alcântara, and 27ARTe, an experimental open-air contemporary art space accessible 24/7 in Alfama.
Divided between Freedom House - Mário Cesariny and Perve Galeria, the exhibition offers a journey through the history of the Colectivo, highlighting the key moments in its trajectory. It brings together emblematic works by artists who have marked its history over the years, as well as new creations made especially for this occasion, by artists such as Borderlovers, Alfredo Luz, Vítor Rua, Gabriel Garcia, Carlos Zíngaro, MarYserra and Dear Anushka.
The opening of the exhibition will also feature performances by artists such as João Garcia Miguel, Pedro Amaral, MarYserra and poetic contributions by the poet Conceição Baleizão.
The diversity of artistic media on display - painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation, among others - offers a plural and critical view of the Colectivo's evolution, reflecting its constant search for new languages and forms of expression, emphasizing its mission to give a voice to different generations of artists and to broaden the artistic narratives of the Portuguese-speaking world and the Global South. Assuming a narrative under construction, in a living body in which the exhibition itself is transformed over time, it is proposed a reflection on the role of art as an instrument of resistance, identity and cultural dialogue, especially in times of significant social and cultural change.
'Daedalus: 25 years in Alfama' is not only a celebration of the Colectivo Multimédia Perve, but also a tribute to all the artists, collaborators and audiences who, over the years, have contributed to the institution becoming a reference in the contemporary art scene, both nationally and internationally. This exhibition reaffirms the Colectivo's commitment to promoting art as a link between worlds, generations and experiences, and offers a unique opportunity to reflect on the power of art in building a more inclusive future that is sensitive to global and local issues.
