VOLTA New York | Chelsea Industrial | 4 - 8.09.2024
PT| A Perve Galeria tem o prazer de anunciar a sua presença na feira de arte VOLTA New York. De 4 a 8 de setembro de 2024, poderá encontrar-nos no Chelsea Industrial, W 28th St New York, no Stand 16, onde apresentaremos em exposição artistas como Carlos Zíngaro (1948, Portugal), João Donato (1953, Moçambique), Mariano Cinat (Argentina/EUA) e Reinata Sadimba (1945, Moçambique).
Estaremos também no Ukrainian Pavilion, com uma exposição especial do artista Bogdan Gulyay (1980, Ucrânia), que promete lembrar-nos daquele país que continua a sobreviver e a resistir porque continua ainda a haver guerra na Europa.
ENG| Perve Galeria is pleased to announce its participation at the VOLTA New York art fair. From September 4th to 8th 2024, you may find us at Chelsea Industrial, W 28th St New York, at Booth 16, where we will be showcasing artists such as Carlos Zíngaro (1948, Portugal), João Donato (1953, Mozambique), Mariano Cinat (Argentina/USA) and Reinata Sadimba (1945, Mozambique).
You will also find us at the Ukrainian Pavilion, with a special exhibition by the artist Bogdan Gulyay (1980, Ukraine), that reminds us of that one country, still surviving and resisting, for there is still war in Europe.

Salão Emergente (Emerging Saloon) | Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny | 17.09 - 26.10.2024
PT| A 17 de setembro, entre as 17h e as 20h, inaugura na Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny a exposição "Salão Emergente", que destaca uma seleção diversificada de obras e artistas com trajetórias emergentes distintas, alguns dos quais, até agora, apenas haviam sido representados pontualmente nas nossas exposições coletivas.
Patente até 26 de outubro, a exposição visa ainda ampliar a visibilidade, no contexto nacional, dos artistas que a Perve Galeria tem apresentado internacionalmente ao longo dos últimos anos, através da sua participação em diversas feiras de arte.
ENG| On September 17th, between 5pm and 8pm, Freedom House - Mário Cesariny opens the exhibition ‘Emerging Saloon”, highlighting a diverse selection of artworks and artists with different emerging trajectories, some of whom, until now, had only been represented occasionally in our group exhibitions.
On show until October 26th, the exhibition also aims to increase the visibility, in the Portuguese context, of the artists that Perve Galeria has presented internationally over the last few years, through its participation in various art fairs.
A Invenção Surrealista (The Surrealist Invention) | Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny | 27.08 - 21.09.2024
PT| Dando continuidade à celebração do 75.º aniversário da 1.ª Exposição d'Os Surrealistas em Portugal, cuja exposição patente na Perve Galeria se tem revelado um ponto de encontro imprescindível entre o público e as obras dos artistas que tornaram Portugal num dos pontos de referência para o movimento Surrealista internacional, a partir dos anos 1940/1950, inaugura no próximo dia 27 de agosto, a partir das 17h, a mostra «A Invenção Surrealista», que terá lugar na Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny. Nesta exposição o público poderá ver algumas obras inéditas daqueles que foram os artistas da reinvenção e da espontaneidade surrealista em Portugal.
ENG| Continuing the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the 1st exhibition of The Surrealists in Portugal, whose exhibition at Perve Galeria has proved to be an essential meeting point between the public and the artworks of the artists who made Portugal one of the reference points for the international Surrealist movement, from the 1940s/1950s onwards, the exhibition "The Surrealist Invention" will open on August 27 from 5pm at Freedom House - Mário Cesariny. The public will be able to see some nver-shown before artworks by those who were the artists of the reinvention and spontaneity of surrealism in Portugal.

PT| A 18 de junho, entre as 17h e as 20h, inaugura na Perve Galeria a exposição que celebra o "75.º Aniversário da 1.ª Exposição d'Os Surrealistas", anti-grupo surrealista português, fundado por Mário Cesariny e Cruzeiro Seixas, e o centenário do Manifesto Surrealista de André Breton, mediante a apresentação de obras inéditas de artistas como Cruzeiro Seixas, Isabel Meyrelles e Eugenio Granell, oriundas de importantes coleções privadas internacionais e recentemente integradas na galeria, que são agora expostas pela primeira vez em Portugal.
ENG| On 18 June, between 5pm and 8pm, the exhibition celebrating the '75th Anniversary of the 1st Exhibition of Os Surrealistas', founded by Mário Cesariny and Cruzeiro Seixas, opens at Perve Galeria, the Portuguese surrealist anti-group founded by Mário Cesariny and Cruzeiro Seixas, and the centenary of André Breton's Surrealist Manifesto, by presenting previously unseen works by artists such as Cruzeiro Seixas, Isabel Meyrelles and Eugenio Granell, from important international private collections and recently integrated into the gallery, which are now on show for the first time in Portugal.

Não Há Morte na Morte de Cruzeiro Seixas | There is no Death in the Death of Cruzeiro Seixas
PT| A 8 de novembro de 2023 assinalam-se três anos sobre o falecimento de Artur do Cruzeiro Seixas (1920-2020). Lembramos com carinho e saudade o grande mestre, membro fundador do anti-grupo "Os Surrealistas", cuja obra e legado continuam a inspirar e influenciar a expressão criativa das gerações mais jovens. Celebramos a vitalidade do seu trabalho na História da arte com o pré-lançamento do livro “Não Há Morte na Morte de Cruzeiro Seixas: Evocação, tributo e celebração da vida e obra”. Numa edição limitada e numerada, este reúne as várias iniciativas dedicadas ao autor, realizadas ao longo de mais de 20 anos pela Perve Galeria e a Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny.
ENG| 8 November 2023 marks three years since the death of Artur do Cruzeiro Seixas (1920-2020). We remember with affection and saudade the great master, founding member of the anti-group "The Surrealists", whose work and legacy continue to inspire and influence the creative expression of younger generations. We celebrate the vitality of his work in art history with the pre-launch of the book "There is no Death in the Death of Cruzeiro Seixas: Evocation, tribute and celebration of life and artwork". In a limited and numbered edition, it brings together the various initiatives dedicated to the author, organised over more than 20 years by Perve Galeria and Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny.
