100 Obras para Artur Bual | Perve Galeria & Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny | 14.07 - 15.08.2026
PT| Na terça-feira, 14 de julho, às 19:00, a Perve Galeria e a Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny (Alfama) inauguração a exposição '100 Obras para Artur Bual: Homenagem ao Pioneiro Gestualista Português', mostra coletiva que assinala o centenário do nascimento de Artur Bual (1926–1999), uma das figuras mais determinantes da arte portuguesa do século XX.
Com curadoria de Carlos Cabral Nunes, a exposição, patente até 15 de agosto, reúne uma centena de obras, focando-se numa vasta seleção do percurso de Artur Bual, com obras realizadas entre os anos 1950 e 1990, a par de obras de artistas de diferentes gerações. O conjunto integra autores que mantiveram uma relação direta com o artista, bem como criadores cuja obra estabelece afinidades plásticas e poéticas com o seu legado, tais como Mário Cesariny, Cruzeiro Seixas, Fernando Lemos e Figueiredo Sobral, entre outros.
ENG| On Tuesday, July 14, at 7pm, Perve Galeria and Casa da Liberdade – Mário Cesariny (Alfama) will open the exhibition "100 Artworks for Artur Bual: A Tribute to the Portuguese Gesturalist Pioneer." This collective exhibition marks the centenary of the birth of Artur Bual (1926–1999), one of the most defining figures of 20th-century Portuguese art.
Curated by Carlos Cabral Nunes, the exhibition, which runs until 15 August, brings together around a hundred works, focusing on a wide-ranging selection from Artur Bual’s career, featuring works created between the 1950s and the 1990s, alongside works by artists from different generations. The collection includes artists who had a direct relationship with Bual, as well as creators whose work shares artistic and poetic affinities with his legacy, such as Mário Cesariny, Cruzeiro Seixas, Fernando Lemos and Figueiredo Sobral, amongst others.

Após o sucesso da sua participação na ARCOlisboa, a exposição, integrando obras inéditas, convida o público a mergulhar no universo imersivo e distópico das artistas.

ENG| On 4 June, between 5 pm and 8 pm, aPGn2 – a PiGeon too, Perve Galeria's space in Alcântara, will open the exhibition ‘Future Geometries’, the first solo exhibition by the Portuguese duo Time For The Oniric with Perve Galeria. Following the success of their participation at ARCOlisboa, the exhibition, which features previously unseen works, invites the public to immerse themselves in the artists’ immersive and dystopian universe.

PT| Entre 12 de junho e 12 de julho, visite a exposição "Artistic Metamorphosis" de Sophia Zhong na AO-MO Gallery, em Oeiras. A mostra apresenta o percurso da artista mais jovem da Perve Galeria, reunindo obras que acompanham a sua evolução desde os 9 anos de idade.
A sua prática distingue-se pela capacidade narrativa, onde personagens ganham vida através de um domínio plástico em constante experimentação. A evolução técnica demonstrada ao longo dos últimos anos reflete uma maturidade artística que estabelece uma comunicação direta e original com o observador.

No dia 10 de julho, às 18:00, é promovida uma visita-guiada com a artista e curadores, e um workshop de criação de obras colaborativas.
ENG| Between 12 June and 12 July, visit Sophia Zhong’s exhibition “Artistic Metamorphosis” at the AO-MO Gallery in Oeiras. The exhibition traces the path of Perve Galeria’s youngest artist, bringing together works that chart her development since the age of nine.
Her practice is characterised by its narrative quality, in which characters come to life through a mastery of form that is constantly evolving through experimentation. The technical development she has demonstrated over recent years reflects an artistic maturity that establishes a direct and original connection with the viewer.

On 10 July at 6.00 pm, there will be a guided tour with the artist and curators, followed by a workshop on creating collaborative artworks.

ReKN | Happening 7: الأصول — Al-Usoul | Exhibition by Appointment
ENG| On November 27th, Perve Galeria co-hosted the special event and exhibition "الأصول — Al-Usoul (The Roots)" at ReKN – Renaissance-Era Kinship Nexus, the artistic and cultural space founded by Sheikha Maryam Al Qassimi (artist name: Marya Al Qassimi), in Ajmal Makan, Sharjah, U.A.E.
Co-curated by Carlos Cabral Nunes and Marya Al Qassimi, this marks ReKN's 7th Happening and the 5th in collaboration with Perve Galeria. The accompanying exhibition brings together artists from the U.A.E., Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique, Germany, Lebanon, and Iraq, inviting reflection on roots as a symbolic territory where cultures, histories, and human narratives shape contemporary creative expression.

PT| A 27 de novembro, a Perve Galeria coorganizou o evento especial e inaugurou a exposição "الأصول — Al-Usoul (The Roots / As Raízes)" no ReKN – Renaissance-Era Kinship Nexus, espaço artístico e cultural fundado por Sheikha Maryam Al Qassimi (nome artístico: Marya Al Qassimi), em Ajmal Makan, Sharjah, E.A.U.

Não Há Morte na Morte de Cruzeiro Seixas | There is no Death in the Death of Cruzeiro Seixas
PT| A 8 de novembro de 2023 assinalam-se três anos sobre o falecimento de Artur do Cruzeiro Seixas (1920-2020). Lembramos com carinho e saudade o grande mestre, membro fundador do anti-grupo "Os Surrealistas", cuja obra e legado continuam a inspirar e influenciar a expressão criativa das gerações mais jovens. Celebramos a vitalidade do seu trabalho na História da arte com o pré-lançamento do livro “Não Há Morte na Morte de Cruzeiro Seixas: Evocação, tributo e celebração da vida e obra”. Numa edição limitada e numerada, este reúne as várias iniciativas dedicadas ao autor, realizadas ao longo de mais de 20 anos pela Perve Galeria e a Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny.
ENG| 8 November 2023 marks three years since the death of Artur do Cruzeiro Seixas (1920-2020). We remember with affection and saudade the great master, founding member of the anti-group "The Surrealists", whose work and legacy continue to inspire and influence the creative expression of younger generations. We celebrate the vitality of his work in art history with the pre-launch of the book "There is no Death in the Death of Cruzeiro Seixas: Evocation, tribute and celebration of life and artwork". In a limited and numbered edition, it brings together the various initiatives dedicated to the author, organised over more than 20 years by Perve Galeria and Casa da Liberdade - Mário Cesariny.
